Generalized railway interchange
Description
The data product Generalised railway interchange is a refined railway data product. The type of processing is generalization and it is based on three computer products within the product group Bandata. The purpose of the generalization is to create unique occurrences of the interchanges and other defined places that exist in the railway facility. Each location is represented by a point. The data product contains characteristics about the traffic interchange types (defined according to the Swedish Transport Administration's Traffic Regulations for Railways (TTJ)) operating site with operating site parts, operating site without operating site parts, operating site parts, stops, line stops and stops. The data product also contains the other location and station types (on non-Trafikverksspår) which by definition are not interchanges according to TTJ. Examples of properties at each location, in addition to Signature, Name, Location type and Position, are Status, Possibility of Traveller Exchange, Connection to Port, etc.
