FPV daily passenger journeys
Description
The data product consists of FPV-type daily passenger trips belonging to the STVDB product group and the STVDB Administrative Feature Types product subgroup. Describes roads that are important for daily passenger travel by car within the functionally prioritised road network. The Swedish Transport Administration has taken the initiative to point out which roads are most important for daily passenger journeys from a national and regional perspective. We do this in consultation primarily with the county planners. The data product is part of the functional priority road network (FPV) and will be a planning basis for: • along which roads it is important to safeguard/develop accessibility for daily passenger journeys by car • where measures based on the four-step principle should be prioritised • assessment of accessibility in urban planning and other planning situations The data product will facilitate the work of clarifying what approach we have in order to safeguard and develop accessibility "along" the roads for daily passenger journeys by car. With this basis, we can avoid measures that negatively affect accessibility along the roads from a national and regional perspective and take better responsibility for the management of investments made. It also helps us prioritize development where we get the best benefit.
