Stop

Description

The data product consists of Stop-type phenomena belonging to the product group STVDB and the product subgroup Other phenomena in STVDB. "Stop" means a stop for passenger traffic. The stop is common to all stop locations at the current stop and constitutes a virtual location. The purpose of the data product Stop is to hold common data for all included stop positions at each stop and to represent stop positions in a generalised manner. The data product will support activities such as planning, operation and maintenance, and clarify which public stops/stop locations are adapted for people with different disabilities. The data product shall be able to facilitate the provision of information on adapted stops/stop modes when travelling on public transport for persons with disabilities. Furthermore, the data product (regardless of the road operator) should be able to be used by blue light businesses and others who need positioned stop names.
