Description
The data product consists of the phenomenon type Circulation location, which belongs to the product group NVDB and the product subgroup Traffic rule phenomena types in NVDB. The data product is registered on the car network. The car network includes the reference links where road traffic networks are designated as car networks. The purpose of this data product is to show where intersections are provided with a recirculation point. The place of circulation is to be regarded as a circular path around a hub. Circulation point replaces intersections with traffic lights and is considered to create self-regulating queuing systems. Circulation points also reduce the risk of accidents by reducing speed.
