Jvgdata Kilometer board

Description

The data product Kilometer Board controls the length measurement in the reference system and provides a location of the facility's objects. The kilometre chart contains reference information so that it can be derived from a zero point (usually Stockholm central, but the zero point can also be based on other places), from the previous kilometre chart and its characteristics, and from the bandel it is in. The kilometre charts occur one per kilometre and are used to determine the position of various phenomena along the railway such as switches, signals, bridges, etc. In connection with a change of line, where the length of the railway changes, the kilometre division is usually not changed. This results in kilometre markings that do not have a difference of 1000 metres in length. Each kilometre pole can then be considered as a reference point for the positioning of objects along the course, where the indication is based on the previous kilometre pole, even if the length between these is not exactly 1000 metres. An indication may be "Main signal 114+228" which means that the main signal is located after the kilometre post 114 plus 228 metres. The most important attributes for Kilometer board are Km which contains the number of kilometers against the zero point and Bandel. Also Fg chalkboard Km and Fg chalkboard Bandel referring to the previous Kilometer chalkboard Km and Bandel attributes are essential. With their help, one can search back for the respective tracks. The data product has point distribution and connects to the railway network with reference to the previous node. The indication km + metre is for Kilometer board everything x km + 0 metre.
