Description
The data product includes data indicating that there is a separation between pedestrian and bicycle networks and car networks, as well as the type of separation. The data product is only recorded on the pedestrian and bicycle network, where the attribute GCMtype has the attribute value Cycle Path, Cycle Field, Footpath or Footpath. The GCM network includes those road sections where the Road Traffic Network is designated as Bicycle Network or Walking Network. The data product consists of GCM separation phenomena belonging to the NVDB-GCM product group. The separation of a pedestrian or cycle path can be used in different rotting situations and also provides the possibility for cyclists and pedestrians to use a bicycle journey planner or equivalent equipment for pedestrians to choose a path where separation between the road and the pedestrian and cycle network is available.
