Description
The data product is a classification of a coherent number of track links from an economic and geographical point of view. The track links of the track section begin and end in connection with an operational site. Bandel boundaries are immediately ahead of entry signals (operating site boundaries). All track links within an operational site belong to one and the same bandel. There are a few exceptions to this rule. One example is Nässjö Central, which has a marshalling yard where the continuous tracks with a number of sidings belong to one bandel and the rest belong to another. Each bandel has an identity number that is unique. One example is Bandel 111, which covers all track links between the operational site boundary of Kiruna's ore yard and the national border with Norway. All track links not covered by the bandel classification have an identification number = 001. The names of the operational sites have a parenthesis in the explanatory text when the track links of the operational site are not included in the runway section. In the absence of parentheses in the name of the operational site, the track links of the operational site are included in the relevant section of the line. It should be noted that there is a concept that is closely related to this computer product and should not be confused with it. It is Geotechnical Bandel, which is used to relate geotechnical actions with geotechnical object types. The data product has stretch distribution and connects to the railway network with reference from node to node in the direction of the track link. A bandel consists of track links in sequence.
