Thermal conductivity in the bedrock
Description
The product summarizes the variation in thermal conductivity found in Sweden's bedrock. The map surfaces are based on the bedrock map in SGU's map database Berggrund 1:50 000 – 1:250 000. In combination with point information thermal conductivity figures in rock samples, see product Modal data and thermal conductivity figures (open data), it is possible in some areas to get better information about the mineral composition of rocks and calculated thermal conductivity figures. The information can be used for general planning of land use with regard to the construction of geothermal energy.
