The data product ‘Bicycle road network with basic characteristics’, which belongs to the product group ‘Refined road data products’, contains a number of basic information about the cycle road network taken from several different cycle path phenomena. Note the difference between bicycle road network and bicycle network! By bicycle road network we mean the road network where it is allowed to cycle, i.e. also on most of the car road network, while the bicycle network is the network where it is only allowed to cycle and usually also to walk.
