Description
Contains sites linked to the collections of the Historical Museum. The site has four important functions:
1. It’s a selection. It gives the user a selection of exciting sites that in turn have a selection of relevant links to pages and objects inside and outside K-sampling.
2. It’s a processing. It contains a brief description of the location and the historical function of the site. It has the function of being able to act as an agnad hook in that the site can be described with common search terms and keywords that capture the user and link further to raw data that is otherwise difficult to find.
3. It’s packaging. It brings together finds/finding sites (with objects) that belong to an intelligible unit for a larger audience than researchers, students and employees in the field of cultural protection. The site can create a filter for searches that helps the user to access information about that particular location, even though the location’s information is fragmented in a variety of administrative objects.
4. It’s easy to find. It is always positioned with a view to map applications.
