Register of Agricultural Processing Societies
Description
Agricultural Processing Societies (SATs) are civil societies with an economic and social purpose, in order to produce, process and market agricultural, livestock or forestry products, make improvements in rural areas, promote and develop agriculture and provide common services that serve that purpose. Galician SATs acquire their own legal personality and full capacity to act with their registration in the Registry of Agricultural Societies of Transformation of Galicia. The file contains the data relating to the more than 400 SATs that currently appear in this register, with an indication of their name, registration number, tax identification number, date of incorporation, object of the company, address, postal code, town hall and province. The XUGA data, which is also included in this file, appears in those SATs that were registered in the Galician registry after the transfers to the Autonomous Community in the field of agriculture. This reference is not included in those that were already registered previously.
