Description
The Structural Household Survey (SHS) is an annual statistical activity aimed at Galician households in order to obtain information on their socioeconomic characteristics. It consists of two parts: a first one of a general nature that is repeated every year, designed to collect information on basic variables, and a second one of a specific nature. In 2018 one of the specific modules is dedicated to the knowledge and use of the Galician language. This module analyzes, among other things, the degree of knowledge of the Galician language in its different forms (oral and written) and its use in different social areas.
