Meteorological and oceanographic forecasting
Description
MeteoGalicia has a service (MeteoSIX) that provides access to the results of the different numerical prediction models that this organism executes daily. In addition, it provides information on tides and times of sunrise and sunset. In this way, it facilitates the consultation of a large amount of meteorological and oceanographic prediction information, with variables such as the state of the sky, temperature, wind, snow level, relative humidity, precipitation, cloud coverage, sea level pressure, wave height, wave period, wave direction, water temperature or its salinity. The MeteoSIX API can be useful both for those people who wish to develop custom meteorological applications, using this data, and for end users who need the information for different types of analysis and processing. In addition, it is public and its use is free but to use it you must request a user key. See how to obtain it on this page.
