Professional associations are corporations governed by public law which are constituted as public legal persons representing professional interests, aimed not only at the pursuit of strictly private purposes, but mainly at ensuring that the exercise of the profession – which constitutes a service to the general interest – complies with the rules or norms that ensure both efficiency and possible liability in such exercise. This data set includes the following information (listed in the Register of Professional Councils and Galician Councils of Professional Associations of the Autonomous Community of Galicia): registration number, type of school, name, address, postal code, province, town hall, telephone number and date of registration.
