Establishment of a Special Confidential Account between T.P. & Loans and Local Authorities
Description
A special fiduciary account was signed between the Consignment Deposits and Loans Fund and the first-level local authorities participating, as beneficiaries, in the
programme 'Promoting employment through community-based schemes (unemployment pockets)'.
Through this account, the Deposits and Loans Fund will subsidize the beneficiary Municipalities for all or part of the cost of the materials or services that will be required for the implementation of the projects included in the above program, in which the beneficiaries of the program will be employed.
In this way, the Consignment Deposits and Loans Fund, which has been assisting local authorities for many years, confirms, in the extremely difficult economic conditions experienced by the whole society and especially regions with increased unemployment, its role as a crucial financial lever for development at local and regional level but also for supporting policies for economic recovery and building a sustainable future.
