Certification of Trader Details
Description
Under the current institutional framework, which was established internationally in an effort to prevent the use of the financial system for money laundering and terrorist financing, all credit institutions are obliged to request specific documents confirming their data.
In application of this regulatory framework, credit institutions are obliged not to carry out any transactions unless they have previously certified and verified the identity of the trader. They also have an obligation to ask their customers for information. For this reason, when the credit institution requests your information for a transaction or for the initiation or continuation of your trading relationship, you should be aware that it applies the requirements of applicable law and cannot do otherwise.
Documents must be presented in original and credit institutions are required to keep copies.
