Tide currents from the coasts of France (Channel/Atlantic) – Digital product
Description
This product contains, in mesh form, all the digital files of the Shom relating to the tide currents of the French metropolitan coasts of the Channel and the Atlantic facade. These numerical files indicate the components of the surface tide current, hour by hour and for two characteristic tide coefficients (45 and 95) and the maximum current speeds in average water. For visualisation, the reference port is the port of Brest.
The current points contained in the files correspond to the arrows represented on the current atlas.
