Description
The ‘Wrecks and obstructions’ product contains a description of the wrecks and obstructions in the French exclusive economic zone (EEZ) in the form of 2D one-off objects. The objects in the ‘Wrecks and obstructions’ product are divided into two classes: - Wrecks (WRECKS): all or part of a ship or aeroplane stranded or sunk; - Obstructions (OBSTRN): object of an artificial nature other than a wreck (e.g.: container, lost anchor...). This product does not apply to floating or drifting objects (containers, debris, drifting buoys, etc.) whose position is changing rapidly.
