MNT bathymetric facade of the Gulf of Lion – Côte d’Azur (Project HOMONIM)

Description

The bathymetry product Gulf of the Lion – Côte d’Azur with a resolution of 0.001° (~ 111 m) was produced as part of the HOMONIM project. It covers the entire Mediterranean metropolitan façade, from the coastline to about 2 800 m deep. The NTM is intended to be implemented in hydrodynamic models in order to produce as accurate forecasts as possible of the heights of water and sea states at the coast and thus to improve the relevance of the Vigilance Vagues-Submersion. This product is available with the lowest astronomical sea level (PBMA) or mean sea level (NM) as a vertical reference.
