Hydrometric stations - Guadeloupe

Description

Device installed on a hydrometric site to observe and measure a specific quantity related to hydrology (height or flow). Regarding the observation of water height, it is usually a limnimetric scale. A hydrometric station may carry a height and/or flow rate (directly measured or calculated from a calibration curve). Each station has one or more sensors (= device measuring a size, height or flow rate). The station is identified by a code attached to the hydrometric site. This code is of no particular significance and must always be accompanied by the code of the hydrometric site. Source: Data dictionary "Hydrometric reference frame" version 2.4
