Hydrographic nodes - Guadeloupe 2009 - BD Carthage
Description
A hydrographic node corresponds to a change in the flow of water. It is always located at the end of a basic hydrographic section.
The class of hydrographic nodes managed by the IGN includes:
- confluences, diffluences, sources, mouths and losses of watercourses;
- restraint dams;
- run-of-river dams;
- locks (for passage or refit);
- springs and waterfalls of tourist interest.
A hydrographic node is located by a geometric vertex. Some nodes correspond to an outlet of a hydrographic zone.
BDCarthage Guadeloupe is maintained by DEAL Guadeloupe. The structure of the database is identical to the metropolis format.The Carthage Guadeloupe comic is a version validated by the SIE but not by the IGN and that therefore problems of incompatibility with IGN referentiels can occur (and that an update will "officialize" the Carthage comic with the IGN validation).
