Taxon Designations - APT

Description

Benchmark of the SANDRE Taxon Designations. This repository is developed following requests for user codifications. The Sandre Technical Secretariat controls the quality of this repository, it is the administrator of it. A taxon designation is a designation of a taxon that is a generic unit that refers to systematics - a form of classification derived from the same ancestor. Depending on whether we go back more or less high in the origin of the taxon, we will have higher taxa (branches, classes) or lower taxon (genus, species, races). Sometimes the discovery of a taxon attributed to one researcher is called into question by another, which leads to an Appellation du Taxon to be seen as: - "Referent" with respect to other Synonymous Taxon Appellations, - "Synonym" of another Taxon Referring Designation.
