Description
This layer represents the division of the metropolitan coastline into sedimentary provinces defined in the framework of the project "Dynamics and evolution of the coastline: synthesis of knowledge of the French coast".
In metropolitan France, the coastline is divided into 10 sedimentary provinces. 8 other provinces have been defined on the overseas territories. They constitute the scale for the return of local summary documents.
