Technical deposit for the development of wave energy
Description
The houlomoteur deposit was obtained by analysis of bathymetry and swell data. They come from the ANEMOC database established by EDF R&D - LNHE and CEREMA (Technical Directorate Water, Sea and Rivers) which is based on the modeling of sea states using the TOMAWAC model.
After consultation with the Union of Marine Renewable Energies, technical criteria have been set to identify these deposits:
Power > 20kw/m and Depth between 50 and 130m.
