Permanent inventory of LIttoral (IpLI 77)
Description
The Permanent Inventory of the LIttoral (IPLI) is a land cover layer made up of a photo-interpretation carried out on the entire metropolitan coastline. This database covers a width of about 7 km from the coast. It is structured by department.
IPLI was established in 1977. In the 1982 version, the legend of the land use maps has been substantially modified in order to be able to understand in more detail the evolutions of urban and tourist phenomena. Since 1982, no global update of this land cover mapping inventory has taken place on the French coast.
