Mapping the artificialization of the coastline
Description
The coastline is considered artificialized when it supports coastal structures and developments or when its evolution is potentially influenced by these constructions.
The mapping of the artificialization of the coastline was carried out mainly on the basis of the "national mapping of coastal structures and developments" produced as part of the National Strategy for the Integrated Management of the Coastline.
This map covers the entire coastline of the metropolis and the overseas departments and regions (Guadeloupe, Martinique, French Guiana, Réunion, Mayotte).
