Biological Reserves (public dissemination)

Description

Contours of existing biological reserves (created by ministerial order) or projects having received the favourable opinion of the CNPN (National Council for the Protection of Nature) but still awaiting their creation decree. In integral biological reserves (BBIs), any human intervention likely to alter the environment is prohibited: the objective of these reserves is the study of the natural evolution of the ecosystem. In directed biological reserves (RBDs), management is geared towards an objective of protecting species or habitats of high heritage value.
