Description
All BDRTM sites for dissemination, with validated/broadcast status. This also includes sites corresponding to the communal territory.
The site is a geographical entity freely chosen by the RTM services, which is linked to only one type of phenomenon. A site is identified by a name and number. Site splitting favours a functional approach rather than a stake-based approach, by reason of the influence of phenomena. A site is therefore a subdivision of the corresponding territory for block falls to a slope comprising emitting and arrival areas. Where several starting areas can be distinguished in the same slope, e.g. separated by slopes without rock outcrops, they shall be grouped in a single site if they are close due to the possible crossing of the paths on the slope; several sites will be distinguished only in the case of a free cut (e.g. secondary valley cutting the slope) and separate operation.
ATTENTION: Represented by a polygon, a site is by no means a hazard map and should not be used for this purpose.
