Dunkirk offshore wind farm - Sedimentological data produced on the study area
Description
A site characterization study was conducted by Shom on the EMR study area of Dunkirk in 2016 and 2017. As part of the "sedimentology" component of this study, various data were produced: distribution of sedimentary structures and slopes, nature of bottoms, thickness of sediments.
The EMR Dunkirk Sedimentology Component V2.0 report of 15 November 2017 provides an analysis of the results from the exploitation of sedimentological data collected as part of the environmental recognition study of the EMR Dunkirk study area.
- Type of funds card: Sediment distribution map based on data acquired at sea
- Sediment thickness map: Minimum sediment thickness map based on THR seismic data acquired during the 2016 and 2017 surveys (Echoes 10000 and Echoes 3500)
- Distribution map of sedimentary structures: map of the location of the dunes, map of the distribution of the banks, map of the distribution of the 3 classes of megarides,
- Map of slopes
Accessible data:
- Nature of funds: CarteNF_Dunkerque.tif, DunkNF_Synth_A0.tif, EMRDunkerqueNF_Synthese (shape format)
- Sediment thickness: CarteEp_Dunkerque.tif, DunkEP_Synth_A0.tif, EMRDunkerqueEP_Synthese (shape format), EMRDunkerquePROFILS_SBP_Synthese (shape format)
- Sedimentary structures: EMRDunkerqueBANCS_Synthese (shape format), EMRDunkerqueDUNES_Synthese (shape format), EMRDunkerqueMEGARIDES_Synthese (shape format)
- Slopes: EMRDunkerquePENTE_Synthese (shape format)
Horizontal references: WGS84 assimilated to the RGF93 geodetic system (difference of 65 cm between the two systems, taken into account in the balance of theoretical errors); Lambert93 projection
Vertical references: ZH in Dunkirk for the probes, the vertical reference of the altitudes is the zero of the NGF-IGN system 1969.
