Floating offshore wind projects in the Mediterranean – areas selected for competitive tendering procedures and continuation of technical and environmental studies
Description
Areas annexed to the Ministerial Decision of 17 March 2022 following the public debate on the project for floating wind turbines in the Mediterranean and their connection.
The first fleet of approximately 250 megawatts and its extension will be located within Zone 1. The second park of approximately 250 megawatts and its extension will be located either within Zone 2 or within Zone 3. Zone 2 is considered preferential for the reception of this park and its extension.
