ERRUISSOL - Diffuse runoff risk

Description

The maps of areas at risk of diffuse runoff represent the rate (coefficient) of potential runoff on the Walloon territory. They have been established on the basis of the SCS method. The methodology defines the potential runoff rate in response to a reference rainfall, set in intensity, duration and frequency. This mapping makes it possible to highlight areas producing runoff, and this only on agricultural and forest land. It does not take into account urbanized areas or the dimensions of structures that can harvest surface runoff.
