Remarkable space perimeter under the L.146-6 in the Somme

The Coastal Law contains a protection regime codified in Article L. 146-6, the provisions of which concern coastal areas, which are designated in particular by Article R. 146-1: dunes, coastal heaths, beaches, lidos, foreshores, cliffs and their surroundings, forests and wooded areas close to a sea shore, uninhabited islets, natural parts of estuaries, rias or abers and capes, as well as inland bodies of water with an area of more than 1 000 ha. This protection regime has very important implications, since it may lead, on the one hand, to the cancellation of a work permit for a tourist development, on the other hand, to order or not the demolition of the irregularly located structure, and finally, to lead the court to order the developer of the irregularly located structure to pay compensation to an association for the fault committed as a result of the decision to install a structure prohibited by coastal law.
