Data from the *Remembrance Book of the Imperial Navy*, collected by volunteers with the Data Collection System (DES) of the Association of Computer Genealogy. The book leads them in 1. During World War II, naval personnel died after ship or regiment.

— ‘Page’ — Name of the page on which the entry is located
— ‘LastName’ — Last name
— ‘firstname’ — First name(s)
— ‘grade of service’ — abbreviated rank as indicated in the source
— ‘unit (ship)’ — Name of the vessel or unit
— ‘section’ — grouping of units specified in the book, e.g. ‘line ships’, ‘big cruisers’, ‘outpost boats’, etc.
— ‘ID’ — unique identifier of the entry in DES. By presenting ‘https://des.genealogy.net/search/show/’ you get to the website of the entry.
