Protected wetlands in Castilla-La Mancha
Description
The Network of Protected Areas of Castilla-La Mancha was born with Law 9/1999, of May 26, on Nature Conservation. It integrates the natural areas that arise from the application of this regional norm: natural parks, nature reserves, natural monuments, micro-reserves, river reserves, protected landscapes, natural landscapes and peripheral protection areas, as well as those areas that are subject to Natural Resources Management Plans. Also part of it are the natural areas declared in the territory of Castilla-La Mancha in application of Law 42/2007 on Natural Heritage and Biodiversity, being part of it the national parks.
