Land holdings by large forest owners
Description
Data describes the property holdings of large forest owners. The layer contains geographically delimited properties owned by landowners with a holding of more than 1000 ha of forest if they are included in any of the ownership categories. Private owner (natural person) is not included. The layer is based on information from the land register (taxation information and digital register map) and the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency's property information (FIDOS). The data can be used for general planning and regional statistics. Links between assessed landowners and individual properties in the map may be missing, which is why the documentation should not be used to search for or contact affected property owners, then a more detailed property investigation is needed.
