Data from the Agricultural Register, formerly Statistics Sweden Atlas Agriculture, 1951 - 1995
Description
The Swedish Environmental Protection Agency, together with the Swedish National Heritage Board and the Swedish Board of Agriculture, ordered processed data from the Agricultural Register from Statistics Sweden in what was called Statistics Sweden's Agriculture. The work was part of the so-called LiM project, a follow-up and evaluation of the environmental effects of the 1990 food policy. The aim was to be able to follow and analyse changes in agriculture from the post-war period to the 1990s. All data are recalculated to the 1992 administrative breakdown for comparability over time. The handbook to Statistics Sweden's Agriculture contains a complete description of all the variables involved and also describes how Statistics Sweden has proceeded with conversions, etc.
