Future potential deciduous forests - pre-study
Description
Future potential deciduous forests is a project with the goal of identifying potential development areas for deciduous forests, which can promote the work with both green infrastructure and value areas in both planning and decision-making. The purpose of the project is, in connection with mapping these areas, to present them as digital services aimed at users at both information and expert level.
This is part of a preliminary study where the map information has been produced for two areas, one in southern Sweden and one in Västernorrland.
The dataset has been developed with the support of a reference group with participants from the Swedish Environmental Protection Agency, the Swedish Forest Agency and representatives of landowners.
