Georeferenced frame maps to the topographic map of the General Staff

The base maps of the General Staff's topographic map have been geo-corrected.
Frame maps are a historical source material that shows the location and distribution of former cultivated land, i.e. land cultivated as arable land or mowing land.
The frame maps consist of transports of large-scale cadastral maps, large-shift and legal-shift maps, which have been glued together to form a frame map. The chronological span of the substrates is large - from about 1700 to about 1900. The transports of the survey maps vary in quality and in how clearly the fields and meadows are accounted for. Wetlands are generally well accounted for.
Stomkartbladen has previously only existed as an original at the National Archives. Coverage is not complete and quality varies. Only map sheets that to some extent account for land use have been digitised.
They complement the Häradsekonomi map, which covers large parts of Götaland and Svealand and is georeferenced and downloadable (https://geodata.naturvardsverket.se/download/haradskartan/).
The frame maps are divided into two map series, Norra (Series J2aa) and Södraverket (Series J2ab). Norra Verk has map sheets in scale 1:100 000 or 1:200 000 and Södra Verk has map sheets in scale 1:100 000. The volumes in Norraverket generally consist of four to six sub-map sheets, which together form a map sheet, while the volumes in Södraverket usually consist of two to four sub-map sheets.
