Description
The key figure shows the proportion of patients who did not have Grade 2-4 pressure ulcers when they died. Reducing the incidence of pressure ulcers is an important part of the work for good care. Pressure ulcers can greatly impair the quality of life in the last days of life. Measuring the occurrence of pressure ulcers is important in order to prevent their occurrence and to take measures if necessary. Pressure ulcers are recorded in the registry on a four-point scale, with grades 2, 3 and 4 being the levels included in the indicator, according to the modified Norton scale.
