Periodic MRI checks in MS, proportion (%) - Target level ≥ 80
Description
The proportion of people with relapsing-remitting MS who are less than 60 years old and have undergone at least one magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) examination in the last two years. The disease activity decreases over the years, which means that older people usually do not have the same need for regular MRI examinations. This means that the indicator is limited to people under the age of 60. Persons with primary or secondary progressive MS are also not included in the indicator, as the proportion who should undergo annual MRI checks is not as high in this patient group.
