Unit survey, elderly care - Current routine for how staff cooperate with relatives in home care, elderly care, share (%)

Description

For unit level, the value is given as Yes=1 and No=0, while at municipality level it is given as a percentage (%) of units where procedures are in place for the home care staff to cooperate with relatives of persons receiving services at the unit. The procedure shall be decided at management level and documented. It must be up-to-date, i.e. followed up or drawn up within the last year. The procedures describe a predetermined approach to how an activity should be carried out. This refers to own local written procedures or joint written procedures that the municipality has developed for its activities. The procedure must be up-to-date, i.e. it has either been established, followed up and, if necessary, revised within the last 12 months. Management level refers to the level within the organisation that has the mandate to decide on procedures. Here, the terms relatives and close relatives are used in the same way as in the Government bill Support for persons caring for or supporting close relatives (Prop. 2008/09:82 pp. 11 and 12). According to the bill, "close relative" means the person who receives care, care and support. The person who provides care, support or care is called a relative or other person. Another person in this context is someone outside the family circle, such as a friend or neighbor.
