Description
For unit level, the value is given as Yes=1 and No=0, while at municipal level it is given as a percentage (%) of units where there are routines for how the home care staff should act in the event of suspicion/detection that the individual has been subjected to violence or abuse by a relative/relative. The procedure shall be decided at management level and documented. It must be up-to-date, i.e. followed up or drawn up within the last year. Violence or other abuse can be, in addition to physical violence and rudeness, aggressive or threatening address, disrespectful address, looks, lack of respect for private life or other violations in the form of, for example, sexual offences. Routines mean that the staff knows who or what people are being contacted when there is a need or support for a position on the appropriate measure. This may involve contact with the head of unit, the responsible aid officer or nurse. The procedures describe a predetermined approach to how an activity should be carried out. This refers to own local written procedures or joint written procedures that the municipality has developed for its activities.
