Answer to the question: What types of welfare technologies are available in activities for older people living in ordinary housing or for staff? Monitoring with digital technology, night or day, means that a security camera, thermal camera or other technology is placed in the individual’s home through which the alarm centre or other personnel can oversee the individual. Using digital supervision requires that the caregiver, or the alarm centre, actively launch the camera to do the supervision. Available means that the technology is procured and can be granted with assistance decisions under SoL 4.1 or by a simplified decision under SoL 4.2(a), or that it is otherwise introduced to support staff or organisation. This means that the municipality has made a decision that everyone within the target group can, or will be able to, take part of the technology. Pilot or test activity means that it is an initiative that is limited in time, in the number of people who can use the technology, or that it takes place under specific conditions.
