Programme selection factor municipal upper secondary school
Description
The programme selection factor consists of the ratio between the average expected cost per student in the country and the municipality’s expected cost for municipal upper secondary school, according to the national price list. The expected costs are based on the average number of pupils per programme in the municipal upper secondary school at the measurements of the autumn of the year and the previous year, the National Agency for Education’s national price list for national programmes for the year and the cost per pupil for introduction programmes that underlie the cost equalisation programme choice factor T+ 2. The factor is calculated only for municipalities that have students in-house both in the current year and the previous year. A programme selection factor greater than 1 means that the expected cost per student in the municipality’s activities is lower than in the Kingdom when taking into account programme mix, and less than 1 means that it is higher than in the Kingdom.
