Quality index municipal upper secondary school
Description
This is a development key. The index is based on deviation from model calculated value for the proportion of pupils with a degree within four years and a student survey index. Key figures refer to municipal upper secondary school. The key figure is normalised so that all municipalities’ values are placed on a scale from 0 to 100 where 0 is the worst and 100 is the best. To avoid excessive impact, the value is set to 0 for municipalities with values below percentile 2.5, and 100 for municipalities with values above percentile 97.5. For municipalities with data on both KPIs, a weighted average is calculated where deviation from model calculated value is given a weight of 75 % and student survey index weight 25 %. After that, the mean is also normalised to a scale of 0 to 100 in the same way. The index is the normalised average.
