HME stands for Sustainable employee engagement and measures both the level of employee engagement and the ability of managers and the organisation to take advantage of and create engagement. The HME index consists of nine questions that together form a total index for Sustainable Employee Engagement and three sub-indexes; Motivation, Leadership and Governance. Subindex Motivation consists of the three questions My work feels meaningful, I learn new and develop in my daily work, I look forward to going to work.. The questions are answered on a scale 1-5 where 1 is very bad and 5 is very correct. The results are then converted into an index with a scale of 0-100. The result for the Motivation Index is an average of the index value of the three questions. A high value indicates a high level of employee motivation. It refers to own direction. Data is available according to gender breakdown.
