Model-calculated values for average merit value have been developed by SKR in a regression model where municipalities are compared with other municipalities and that takes into account the need for financial assistance, newly immigrated pupils (0-4 years old), the level of education of parents, gender and as of 2017 the proportion of pupils with unknown backgrounds.
