Total mileage with passenger cars registered in the geographical area divided by the total number of passenger cars registered in the geographical area. Refers to the mileage of cars registered in the geographical area and does not say anything about the geographical areas in which these cars have driven. Refers to cars registered on both legal and natural persons. (Note that cars written on legal entities, such as companies, can affect the statistics for municipalities where many companies and headquarters are located).
