Description
This is a development key figure, see questions and answers on kolada.se for more information. Number of kilograms of household waste collected for recycling including biological treatment divided by total number of kilograms of household waste collected. Multiply by 100 for accounting as a percentage. The percentage also includes the so-called ‘receiver’, i.e. the quantity collected for recycling but which has not been recyclable. Household waste includes food and residual waste (including so-called comparable waste from shops, offices, industries and restaurants), gross waste including horticultural waste, hazardous waste and the part of household waste covered by producer responsibility (packaging, newspapers, electrical waste, batteries, etc.) even if it does not fall under municipal cleaning responsibility.
