Description
Total emissions of nitrogen oxides (NOx) from the agricultural sector within the geographical area. The agricultural sector includes emissions from different types of manure, animal digestion, liming of arable land, cultivation of organogenic and mineral soils, and indirect emissions of nitrous oxide from managed land. Emissions should not be interpreted as consumption-based emissions. Sometimes road traffic on the core road network and individual industrial activities can lead to high emissions locally.
